ЦВЕТЫ ОТ МАЯКОВСКОГО

In this lesson, there is a romantic story about the famous Soviet poet Vladimir Mayakovsky. He was invited to read his poetry to a group of Russian emigrants in Paris, where he met and fell in love with a young woman. She did not want to return to Soviet Russia and so, instead, he arranged to send her flowers twice a week. He also wrote a poem about her. The four and a half minute audio is followed by a text transcription and a list of new vocabulary. There are three exercises for self study, using drag and drop and short text entry. Students can test their comprehension and understanding of cases, word formation.
