In this lesson, students are invited to study a poem by Sergei Yesenin, ‘To Kachalov’s dog’. There are links to two different YouTube renditions, with the full text of the poem and useful vocabulary. In the first exercise, comprehension is tested with a choice of explanations of the poem. There are three more exercises testing understanding of the text and grammar.
