This lesson covers recent political changes in Barbados, which became a full republic in 2021, on the 55th anniversary of independence. From this date onwards, Queen Elizabeth II is no longer their head of state. The short 1 minute audio introduces new vocabulary, using different noun cases and verb aspects.
