This lesson consists of a 2 minute podcast, with text transcription, on the subject of ‘The World of Animals’. The steep decline in animal populations, across a range of species, is discussed. The reasons are related to human activity, described in a recent report from the World Wildlife Fund. There is a list of vocabulary (related to nature, environment and society) and four comprehension exercises, testing use of prepositions and verb aspects.
