КТО ТАКИЕ КОБЗАРИ

There is a three minute audio about the Ukrainian traditional folk singers, called kobzars. Through their songs, they would tell and share Ukrainian history, being sometimes referred to as the mass media of their time. The tradition has survived many centuries, including a mass shooting of musicians ordered by Stalin in 1933. The audio is followed by a transcript, vocabulary list and three exercises for students to assess their comprehension.
