ЦВЕТЫ ОТ МАЯКОВСКОГО

In this lesson, students can start with a three minute audio telling the legendary love story of the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky and his beloved Tatyana Yakovleva. Mayakovsky fell in love with Yakovleva, but she refused his offer of marriage. Nonetheless, he arranged to send her flowers twice a week - and these continued even after his death! The audio is followed by a full text transcription and vocabulary list. The three exercises test knowledge of verbs of motion and reflexive verbs.
