ЦВЕТЫ ОТ МАЯКОВСКОГО

This lesson tells the story of the Soviet poet Vladimir Mayakovsky and his unrequited love for Russian emigrant Tatyana Yakovleva. Mayakovsky’s marriage proposal was rejected, but he still sent her flowers twice a week, for over ten years. There is a three minute audio, followed by a word list and full transcription. Students can test their knowledge with three exercises, using multiple choice and drag and drop.
