This lesson is about artificial diamonds. The world’s largest was grown in a laboratory in Kyiv and is now in USA for certification. At 109 carats, it is significantly larger than normal and has already been sold for $500,000. There is a two minute audio, followed by a vocabulary list, with definitions in English and Russian. There are four self-study exercises for students to assess their understanding, particularly focusing on verb aspects, prepositions and cases.
