Одесса

The lesson starts with a four minute video, describing Odesa, particularly its history and multicultural character. Odesa is a much younger city than Kyiv, having been founded in 1794 As a port city, it attracted people from many different countries, creating a vibrant, unique atmosphere. The audio is followed by a transcript and vocabulary list. Students can finish with three multiple choice exercises, testing knowledge of cases, word formation and comprehension.
